The Thurmont Rangers (MD), They shoot the 1st Sunday of the month from March through November. Their matches are held at the Thurmont Conservation and Sportsman's Club. From I-70, take Md. Route 15 North for 8 miles and turn right on to Old Frederick Rd., south of Thurmont. Go 4 1/2 miles and turn right on Hunt Club Rd. for 1 mile into the ranges. Registration is 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. Mandatory safety talk is 9:45 and the fun starts at 10:00. YOU MUST BE A SASS MEMBER OR A MEMBER OF THE THURMONT SPORTSMAN'S AND CONSERVATION CLUB TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MONTHLY MATCHES. The club hosts the SASS Maryland State Championship, THUNDER VALLEY DAYS, in June.

The Virginia City Marshal's (VA) shoot at the National Rifle Association's indoor range in Fairfax, Va. They regularly shoot on the 1st Tuesday of the month all year, but check their FaceBook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1955552141390281) because some matches are not on the first Tuesday. Sign up starts after 5:00PM, mandatory safety talk at 6:45PM, shooting starts at 7:00PM. Matches are held at the NRA Range just off I-66 in Fairfax, VA.
